AR 51 1.3 MP system — 8 parallel 1GigE cameras
AR 51 is a markerless motion capture solution that leverages RGB cameras and deep-learning algorithms to deliver real-time results. Our system processes data from 8 parallel 1GigE cameras. This data is then meticulously handled by powerful GPUs. The substantial computational load demands high-end resources.
The hardware specifications of the AR 51 system have undergone rigorous testing. It's crucial to emphasize that any compromise in the quality of components could significantly impair the system's performance and speed.
PC Specification + A network Switch
Make sure the motherboard can support an Nvidia GPU and either has a free PCIe slot for a 10G ethernet card or an extra 10G network port:

:::note Sizing the PoE switch uplink The cameras connect to a PoE switch, which powers them over Ethernet and forwards their combined video stream to the PC over a single uplink. Each 1.3 MP camera streams at 1GigE, so size the uplink to the number of cameras:
- Up to 10 cameras — a 10GigE uplink is sufficient (10 × 1GigE ≈ 10 Gb/s).
- 11–12 cameras — the aggregate exceeds 10 Gb/s, so use a switch with a 25GigE uplink. :::
3 Alternatives to connect the computer to a 10GigE switch
The PC requires a 10GigE network connection. This can be addressed using several methods:
